Oklahoma City (PRWEB) August 21, 2008 -- Several states, including New York and Massachusetts, recently passed laws that prohibit medical facilities from scheduling overtime for their nursing staff. This may contribute to the rising gap between the current amount of nurses and the number of patients who need their care; the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) recently stated that the number of unfilled nursing jobs could reach a record high of 500,000 by 2025.

Therapy licenses usually take about 1 full month to get. It seems like I always run into trouble when someone wants to go to a far off place. That is what traveling is all about, but a license can hold you up and may even mean you will miss out on a great contracted job. I always suggest to all travelers that if they have a location in mind then to get the license before hand.

Thanks for dropping in to view the Halo Staffing Blogroll. This is the first addition of the category Read and Think and Do. I will update this roll on a regular basis.
